BR Class 55 Deltic diesel locomotive No. 55022 Royal Scots Grey, built in February 1961, photographed light engine at King’s Cross Station on 10 April 1981. The locomotive was withdrawn from British Rail service in January 1982 and subsequently entered preservation.
