London Brighton & South Coast Railway Stroudley D1 Class 0-4-2T No.242 Ringmer at an unidentified location, photographed circa 1905.
Built by Neilson & Co. of Glasgow in November 1881, No.242 remained with the LB&SCR until the formation of the Southern Railway and was withdrawn in July 1925.
