London Brighton & South Coast Railway Marsh H1 Class 4-4-2 No.40 at Stoat's Nest, Croydon, photographed circa 1910.
Built in February 1906, No.40 later became Southern Railway No.2040 and was named St Catherine's Point. It was withdrawn in January 1944.
