Greif and Alcantara were sunk, Andes picked up survivors from both ships. Resumed commercial service in 1919. Converted, at Liverpool, to a cruise ship in 1929 and renamed Atlantis. Served as Hospital Ship No.33 during WW2. From 1948 to 1952 under government charter carrying emigrants to Australia and New Zealand. Sold for breaking up at Faslane in 1952.
