BR Class 37 No.37426 (EWS Livery) Waits at Llandudno Station - July 2000 Dave Cobbe Collection Notes:- British Rail put D6999 into service in August 1965. It was renumbered 37299 in February 1974 then rebuilt and renumbered 37426 in February 1986. Scrapped at C F Booth ,Rotherham - March 2013then rebuilt and renumbered 37426 in February 1986. -
BR Class 45 or Sulzer Type 4 No. 45052 BR Blue Livery Waits at Paignton Station - September 1985 Dave Cobbe Collection Notes:- These locos were known as "Peaks" 45052 entered service in 1961 Built at Crewe or Derby Works between 1960 and 1962 Withdrawn June 1988 and finally scrapped at MC Metals- Glasgow September 1991 -
BRCW Type 3 / Class 33 No.33065 ex D6585 On The Bournemouth Belle at Waterloo Station - September 1986 Loco has "Bournemouth Belle" headboard Dave Cobbe Collection Notes:- These locos were nicknamed "Cromptons" Built BRCW Jan 1962. D6585 was renumbered to 33065 - January 1974 In 1991 was named "Sealion" through to Oct 1996 and in August 2002 was again renamed "Sealion" Withdrawn 17.2.1997. Sold to Mike Biddell of Rainham,Essex then Sold in January 2000 to South East Loco Group - East Kent Railway then in August 2004 moved to SPA Valley Railway
